Fancy Holiday Hair in 5 Steps or Less

Life is too busy around the holidays to devote too much time to styling your hair, but being busy doesn’t mean you have to settle for less when it comes to your hairstyle. You can look great without a lot of fuss with these simple and easy hairstyles that take 5 steps or less, yet are fancy enough for all of your holiday dinners and parties.
 

A Bow and Bun

To start this look add volume to your roots by gently teasing a few sections of hair along your crown. Gently brush your hair back into a low ponytail leaving a couple of wispy loose pieces in front and secure with an elastic. Wrap a piece of your hair around the elastic to hide it and pin it in place. Twist hair into a bun and secure with pins. Tie a wide ribbon around the base of the bun and then form a bow on top leaving the tails hanging out.
 

Festive Half-Up
Part hair starting at the back of the ear, brush up into a high ponytail, and secure with an elastic. Tug a few pieces across the top of your head to loosen from the ponytail to add volume on top. Curl hair with a large barrel curling iron in alternating directions all over to create loose waves. Add a ribbon or bow to the ponytail with tails trailing down each side for a festive flair.
 

Classy Holiday Waves

Part hair from just above the arch of your eyebrow to your crown to create a deep side part and spritz all over with Goldwell Big Finish Volumizing Hair Spray to hold the part in place and boost your volume as you style. Curl hair all over with a large barrel curling iron, lifting at the roots. Spray your brush with hairspray and gently comb the curls out into large glamorous waves for a classy and timeless look.
